Tekno Drops “Jogodo”

The latest track from the Nigerian singer-songwriter, “Jogodo,” which he also produced, has just been released. The song has that simple yet captivating groove that helped him get recognition as part of the current generation of Nigerian singers.

The song “Jogodo” also pays homage to Professor Linkin’s “Jogodo,” which is a more traditional Nigerian vibe. Last year, Tekno put out six tracks, including “Only One” and “Mama,” a joint effort with Wizkid.

Tekno has spent the whole week building up to the premiere of his new song on Instagram, even earning praise from Drake. In response to the Canadian rapper’s “BIGGEST CHUNE” comment on one teaser, Tekno said, “They ain’t ready.”
