Chaplain of the Staff Jobs in the United States of America at the MultiCare Health System: This ministry primarily assists patients and the relatives of those patients, but it also assists staff members, students, and members of the medical staff at the institution.
For this position, which requires close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in order to deliver a comprehensive intervention/counseling service, we are looking for someone who has a strong focus on service and is able to empathize with those who are terminally ill, disabled, economically disadvantaged, and/or critically ill, as well as people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Situations in the workplace are rarely predictable, which means that diplomacy, sensitivity, discretion, and sound judgment are usually required. Internal connections consist of staff members as well as management representatives from all tiers of the business. Patients, families, local clergy, religious laity groups, and outside assistance agencies are all examples of external contacts. Patients and families are also examples of internal interactions.
