A video uploaded on TikTok by a foreign doctor named Doctor Hassan has sparked controversy on social media.
In the video, the doctor raised alarm about an outbreak of Malaria in the United States, specifically in cities like Texas and another undisclosed location.
According to Doctor Hassan, this marks the first occurrence of a Malaria outbreak in the United States in the past 20 years.
He urged people to take the situation seriously, emphasizing that Malaria is typically associated with Africa and not commonly found in the United States.
He warned that the disease can lead to severe health complications such as coma, heart attacks, nausea, and even death.
In response to the video, a concerned individual from Nigeria questioned if this was the same Malaria that people in Nigeria commonly experience. He wrote “Lol… Same malaria we dey chop like biscuits?”
As a Nigerian I find this humorous 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/IKHV0vYSwH
